Physiotherapy with Gillian starts with a thorough assessment, medical screen and treatment plan. She will ensure you receive the kindness, listening, and explanations you deserve as well as an evidence-based approach that respects you and your lifestyle.

Her treatments include manual therapy, detailed explanations and a practical self-care plan tailored to what you need on that day.


 Treatments may also include:

  • Pain education (increasing our understanding can relieve pain and stress) and resources for home videos/reading

  • Mobilizations of joints and spine

  • Deep or light soft tissue release (e.g. trigger point therapies)

  • Exercise programs that are realistic, fun and relevant to you

  • IMS/Dry needling

  • Taping techniques for pain relief and muscle activation

  • Yoga from therapeutic breath work to handstands!

  • Meditation and mindfulness tools for dealing with pain, stress and everyday life

  • Pain coaching and specialized pain care

  • Education on injury and prevention

  • Postural improvement for prevention of injury and just to feel more awake!

  • Ergonomic interventions for healthy work habits

  • Referral to other healthcare practitioners where appropriate
